9E analysis of a flat plate solar collector system implementation: A new approach based on digital twin model coupled with global sensitivity analysis and multi-objective optimization

Flat plate solar collectors are technology with the most thermal energy field applications, and different studies based on artificial intelligence have been used to model these systems. This research study presents a 9E analysis digital twin coupled global sensitivity multi-objective optimization of system integrated an array flat satisfy residential hot water demand that represents case applications. A neural networks was trained, using Sobol method genetic algorithm were also implemented. The main outcomes revealed presented high correlation above 0.99, reported maximum value 25.18% for efficiency 0.266% exergetic efficiency. Also, 1798.5 kgCO2/year obtained amount CO2 mitigated, $1342.9 USD net present value, $0.0104 USD/kWh levelized cost energy, 92.62, 0.519 kgCO2/year, $3.43, $1.34, $0.00752 USD/year energoenvironmental, exergoenvironmental, enviroeconomic energoenviroeconomic, exergoenviroeconomic indicators, respectively. methodology results provide comprehensive approach determines optimal choice by analyzing system's viability assessments goes beyond conventional analyses currently in literature as it shows untapped market potential best decision-making.
